Established as part of the Pumps & Process Solutions segment of Dover Corporation, PSG is known for delivering products that guarantee optimal performance and reliability in demanding applications across various industries where precision and dependability are paramount. Headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois, USA, PSG encompasses a family of world-class brands including Abaque, All-Flo, Almatec, Blackmer, Ebsray, em-tec, Griswold, Hydro, Malema, Mouvex, Neptune, PSG Biotech, Quantex, Quattroflow, and Wilden. These brands collectively manufacture their products on three continents — North America, Europe, and Asia — using state-of-the-art, ISO-certified facilities that emphasize lean manufacturing principles. The company culture is built around a dynamic environment that combines the innovation and agility of a small business with the robust resources of a large corporation under Dover’s financial strength, tools, and expertise.

At PSG, employees enjoy an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to make customer-focused decisions and contribute to groundbreaking solutions that redefine industry standards. The organization prides itself on fostering a friendly and fast-paced workplace where curiosity, ambition, and dedication are rewarded with excellent career prospects. The role of Assembler at PSG-California offers an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking to join a reputable global manufacturer specializing in pump assembly operations. This full-time, onsite position pays $20.00 per hour and includes eligibility to participate in the company’s annual incentive program. Working as an Assembler, incumbents are responsible for performing value-adding processes within the assembly department focused on pump builds. This role includes tasks such as kitting, sub-assembly, testing of finished goods, as well as final packaging activities including boxing and palletizing.

While no previous assembly experience is required, candidates should be mechanically inclined with the ability to learn quickly. Experience using hand and air tools, production or assembly work, and packaging or palletizing is considered a plus. The position demands a high level of attention to quality assurance procedures and adherence to company standards. Assemblers will perform Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) on department tools and equipment, carry out hydro-testing as required, and maintain accurate inventory records using Oracle software.

The Assembler position at PSG-Calfornia is designed for individuals who thrive in a manufacturing environment and are committed to safety, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role requires flexibility to work extended or overtime hours as needed and emphasizes excellent attendance and punctuality. Those joining PSG will find a work culture that values collaboration and innovation while providing comprehensive benefits from day one, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus paid vacation, holidays, and sick time.

Overall, this is an ideal position for candidates seeking to enter the manufacturing industry with a reputable employer that supports career growth, work-life balance, and a positive working environment.
