Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of prior manufacturing or assembly experience
- Reside within 50-mile radius of Eaton El Paso TX facility except active-duty military
- No relocation benefits offered
- No employment immigration sponsorship or support
- Basic computer skills and software application use
- Available for overtime work
- Ability to lift 35 lbs with accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of manufacturing or assembly experience
- Basic computer skills
- Degree in a technical discipline preferred
- Forklift operation certification preferred
- Experience with supply chain systems such as AS400 or MAPICS preferred
- Experience in electrical equipment manufacturing and assembly preferred
- Experience in electrical equipment maintenance or installation preferred
Job Duties
- Perform wiring, assembling, fitting, and mounting subassemblies, components, and fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment
- Perform assembly or wiring for test preparation and final inspection
- Use power-checking procedures and equipment to verify electrical/mechanical integrity
- Follow oral or written instructions, drawings, or manufacturing information
- Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality standards and specifications
- Maintain job progress and communicate problems or part shortages
- Observe safety procedures and maintain clean and orderly work area
- Lift up to 35 lbs with accommodation as required
