- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
- Good interpersonal skills for guest interaction
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to follow safety protocols
Job Duties
- Comprehend and adhere to Ponte Vineyard Inn values and service standards
- Guarantee guest and associate safety by following hotel safety guidelines
- Greet guests with a smile and respond quickly to requests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Ensure all rooms are clean and organized within the assigned daily timeframe
- Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, sweep, mop, polish floors and surfaces, clean carpets, furniture and drapes
- Dust furniture and equipment
- Maintain a clean work environment both front and back of house
- Ensure all room items function properly
- Replenish all linens and supplies according to established standards
- Report missing items in rooms to housekeeping inspector or shift manager
- Report maintenance issues or concerns to housekeeping inspector or shift manager
- Provide a safe environment by maintaining key control and ensuring rooms are locked upon exit
- Report all guest left-behind items immediately according to lost and found policy
- Maintain cleanliness and inventory in storage areas by reporting deficiencies to department manager
- Maintain consistently high productivity while cleaning rooms
- Maintain or exceed a 95% rating on room inspections
- Assist with other cleaning tasks as needed such as public area attendant, cleaning assistant, laundry assistant
- Perform any additional duties requested by supervisor or management
