Job Description

This position in the U.S. Army or Army Reserve is for a Culinary Specialist who will cook meals and work alongside chefs to prepare meals for Soldiers. Responsibilities include preparing and servicing meals in various locations, managing food inventory, and ensuring kitchen safety and sanitation standards are met. Skills learned align with Preparation & Cooking, Stocking & Storage, and Hospitality. The position offers opportunities to earn 19 nationally recognized certifications and advancement within the Army.

Job Requirements

  • 10 weeks of Basic Training
  • 9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
  • U.S. Citizen
  • 17 to 34 Years Old
  • High School Diploma or GED
