The position of Armed Vault Custodian at Loomis is a pivotal role within the company’s operational framework. This role involves working closely with a team to manage and maintain cash inventories in Loomis’ secure vaults. Employees in this position are responsible for verifying the identification numbers and seals on bags of deposits or change shipments, counting and recording amounts and serial numbers, and accurately signing receipts and manifests. The role demands physical stamina, with duties including loading and unloading currency bags, sorting items by delivery route, and effective communication with both co-workers and customers. The Armed Vault Custodian works in a secure vault environment where handling cash, checks, and coins is a daily task. The position offers a starting pay of $21.05 per hour and is scheduled for afternoon shifts beginning at 2:00 PM. Candidates can expect to work a full-time schedule averaging 40 to 50 hours per week, potentially across five to six days during a six-day period.
