The role of Area Transient Sales Manager at Ocean Key Resort and Spa primarily focuses on managing various market segments including FIT/Wholesale, Agency/Consortia leisure business, business travel, and government accounts. This sales position carries the vital responsibility of proactively soliciting and managing opportunities within these segments that possess significant revenue potential. The incumbent works towards establishing, building, and maintaining long-term, value-driven client relationships designed to meet and exceed both individual and team revenue objectives.
Depending on organizational needs, the Manager may concentrate on a broad range of account types or specialize in niche markets. Driving customer loyalty through delivering unparalleled service throughout every stage of the customer experience is essential. This position operates remotely yet entails regular visits to the resort properties for events, client meetings, familiarization tours (FAMs), and other duties necessary to strengthen client relationships and reinforce sales efforts.
This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic resort environment and is adept at building strong customer connections. The successful candidate will be instrumental in advancing the resort’s market presence and revenue growth, all while embodying the core values and guest-first mindset that define Noble House Hotels & Resorts. Job Requirements
- Must be able to exert physical effort in lifting 5 pounds to 50
- Push/Pull 50+ pounds
- Endure various physical movements throughout work areas
- Remain in stationary and mobile positions for at least 8 hours throughout work shift
- Communicate satisfactorily with guests, management and co-workers
- Perform detail-oriented administrative tasks accurately and quickly
- Must live in the state of Florida and be able to travel to Ocean Key Resort and Little Palm Island as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years' experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
- Experience in sales and event management preferably in luxury resort market
- Proficient in computer applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Delphi Sales and Catering Systems and Property Management Systems ideal
- Effective communication skills with clients and internal teams
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive mental attitude and stress management abilities
Job Duties
- Proactively solicit and handle FIT/Wholesale and Agency/Consortia leisure business
- Manage business travel and government market segments
- Develop, build and maintain long-term, value-based customer relationships
- Drive customer loyalty by delivering excellent service throughout each customer experience
- Work remotely with monthly visits to the properties and as needed for events and client visits
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure client satisfaction
- Attend and participate in FAMs and industry events to promote the properties
