Job Requirements
- Earned bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business administration, hospitality management, dietetics, nutrition, or related field
- Minimum of five years within the last ten years of supervisory food service experience, preferably in institutional or child nutrition programs
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills as required for the position
- Valid Florida Driver's License preferred
- Bilingual skills preferred
Job Qualifications

- Ability to evaluate operations and implement corrective actions
- Experience with nutrition education and compliance program management

- Strong leadership and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Supervise staff assigned in the performance of job duties
- Oversee the operations of assigned schools food and nutrition services
- Ensure quality standards of performance in all areas of the food and nutrition services program
- Evaluate reports to determine productivity, efficiency, and financial responsibility
- Identify deviations from procedures and recommend corrective actions
- Review, evaluate, and recommend systems for controlling food and nutrition services operations
- Plan and execute meeting agendas
- Conduct regular school visits to evaluate performance
- Complete evaluations as required by local and federal regulations
- Participate in employee hiring and personnel management development
- Provide training for food and nutrition services personnel
- Monitor compliance with USDA professional standards and training requirements
- Ensure students receive nutritious meals in compliance with USDA and School Board policies
- Serve as a resource on nutrition education, wellness, and food recovery
- Assist administrators in the free and reduced-price meal application process and program compliance
- Conduct yearly evaluations of service managers
- Conduct meetings with administrators and managers about program strengths and changes
- Perform federal reviews of nutrition programs
- Conduct snack program audits and capital inventory verification
- Coordinate summer feeding programs
- Act as liaison between managers, staff, administrators, and parents
- Provide technical assistance to school administrators
- Ensure departmental activities align with the District’s Strategic Plan
- Promote compliance with equal employment and non-discrimination policies
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills
- Stay informed of developments related to job responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to safety rules and procedures
- Follow federal, state laws, and School Board policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
