Job Description

Outbound Hotels is a dynamic hospitality brand that serves as the premier basecamp for the modern explorer. This company operates within the hotel industry, focusing on delivering unique and adventurous experiences to travelers seeking exploration and connection with nature. Outbound Hotels is part of the CoralTree Hospitality portfolio, which includes various properties known for their distinctive locations and engaging cultural activations. The brand is dedicated to providing exceptional lodging experiences that blend comfort with adventure, making it an ideal destination for guests who value the journey as much as the destination itself. Outbound Hotels emphasizes a culture that nurtures innovation, teamwork, and continuous growth, which they encapsulate in the term 'Pathfinders'—a community of employees united by a passion for exploration and guest-centric service.

The Brand Marketing Manager role at Outbound Hotels is designed to be a strategic and operationally hands-on position. This person will act as the driving force behind the marketing efforts across multiple properties within the Outbound portfolio, translating broader portfolio strategies into effective marketing campaigns that increase visibility, demand, and revenue. The role is full-time and based on-site at the CoralTree Hospitality offices in Englewood, Colorado, with some travel required to the various Outbound properties. The Brand Marketing Manager will work closely with property leadership, including General Managers, Heads of Culture & Experiences, Revenue Management teams, sales staff, digital agencies, and other key stakeholders.

The responsibilities span a wide range of marketing disciplines—from campaign planning and execution to digital channel management and brand governance. This individual will develop annual marketing plans and monthly campaign calendars while supporting occupancy-driven marketing activation plans. Collaboration with property teams during low-demand periods is a key focus to help optimize revenue. Leading the creative process to ensure brand consistency across all channels, including websites, emails, paid media, and social platforms, is critical to maintaining the Outbound brand's distinct voice and positioning.

In addition to managing campaign strategy, the Brand Marketing Manager will oversee digital and channel marketing activities such as website content updates, landing page development, OTA listing audits, email marketing execution, and partnerships with digital agencies on paid media strategies and budgets. Brand governance is also a vital part of the role, ensuring cohesive and consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all properties and communications.

Another element of this role includes supporting event marketing and promotional initiatives tied to the Outbound properties' Signature Experiences and activations. The manager will create promotional toolkits and align marketing efforts with seasonal content themes and revenue objectives, integrating the brand's lifestyle and experiential components into campaign narratives effectively.

Performance tracking and reporting complete the role’s scope, requiring the Brand Marketing Manager to maintain marketing dashboards, analyze data from various channels, provide monthly insights, and recommend actionable improvements. Success in this role means proactive marketing that fills rooms, elevates programming visibility, gains trust from property leaders, boosts revenue, and engages culture teams and guests alike. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, data-driven strategist with refined communication skills, including storytelling and presentation abilities, capable of leading marketing efforts across multiple hotel properties confidently and independently.
