The Area Director also partners closely with the Replenishment Center of Excellence (COE) to bring expert guidance and training to the team.

This position demands strong cross-functional communication, engaging with Area Presidents, Merchandising, Distribution Center Operations, Sales, Transportation, Finance, and National Sales Support Teams to align supply chain activities with broader business goals. The role is primarily office-based but includes up to 20% travel as business needs dictate.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related fields, with a minimum of seven years’ progressive experience managing operations and leading teams within supply chain functions such as supply planning, inventory management, vendor management, purchasing, or related roles. Proficiency in analytics, supply chain planning systems, and Microsoft Office, along with strong interpersonal and coaching skills, are essential to excel in this role.

US Foods offers a competitive compensation package, including an annual incentive plan bonus and a long-term incentive program.
