Job Requirements

- ability to follow purchasing procedures
- strong organizational skills
- attention to detail
- ability to operate personal computer and calculator
- telephone etiquette skills
- ability to communicate effectively with vendors
- ability to lift and carry files up to 5 lbs
- ability to view CRT screen
- able to maintain stationary position
- able to perform required communication and reading tasks

Job Duties
- Verify that purchasing procedures are followed
- maintain an accurate, up-to-date Purchase Order Log
- route invoices with Purchase Order attached to Department Heads and Executive Committee members for approval
- ensure account coding is accurate
- process all approved invoices for payment with appropriate signatures and backup
- pay all hotel invoices in a timely manner ensuring accuracy
- handle vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements
- maintain organized files for open invoices, paid invoices, and voided checks
- interface checks and submit log of manual checks to Assistant Controller
