We are currently seeking a passionate and friendly Receptionist to join the Ohana Pacific Health team. This important role is responsible for providing competent, responsible assistance to the community by managing communications, supporting event planning, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. As the first point of contact, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in representing the values and culture of Ohana Pacific Health. Key responsibilities include answering and directing telephone calls, assisting visitors, preparing operational reports, and supporting the onboarding of new residents. Receptionists also help with scheduling and staffing activities needed to engage with residents effectively.

Job Requirements

  • one (1) year administrative experience or combination of education and experience, preferably in healthcare industry
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications with experience in Word and Excel
  • experience with multi-line telephone systems, office equipment and technology

Job Duties

  • assists with preparing items for new residents moving into the community
  • answering and directing incoming telephone calls, takes and posts messages
  • may assist with staffing and scheduling functions necessary to meet the activity needs required for resident engagement
  • assist with preparing the community for new residents
  • special event planning
  • preparation and collection of operational reports
  • data entry
  • assists and directs visitors
  • resolves administrative problems and inquiries
