This listing is for the position of Arboretum Event Bartender, a short-term, temporary role designed primarily for events held at the Arboretum's scenic location in Chaska, MN. These positions are limited to 67 days worked or less per calendar year and are vital to enhancing visitor experience during various functions on site. The Arboretum Event Bartender is responsible for setting up and tearing down the bar area, providing exceptional beverage service to guests with professionalism and courtesy, and adhering to established standards of excellence. This role demands a blend of customer service skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. The bartender ensures that all beverage operations run smoothly by maintaining inventory, handling cash transactions with accuracy, and preparing drinks following established recipes and portion controls. Additionally, they play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area and collaborating effectively with the events, facilities, and catering teams. The ability to communicate clearly in English, manage guest interactions courteously, and respond promptly to supervisor directives are key components of this role. The position also requires adherence to all state, federal, and organizational liquor laws to maintain compliance during service.
