Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Certification in First Aid, CPR and Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
  • Ability to swim 50 yards in 4 feet of water and retrieve a 10 lb brick from the bottom
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a humid and warm environment and be immersed in water for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs and up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Certification in First Aid, CPR and Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
  • Good oral communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a team-oriented approach
  • 2+ years of experience in aquatics operations, including lifeguarding, lifeguard training, swim instruction, and CPO/AFO certification

Job Duties

  • Assist in the training, supervision, and coordination of lifeguards with park management towards ensuring the protection of the lives and safety of park guests
  • Manage lifeguards in assigned areas, enforce established rules, comply with regulations, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Follow and enforce established park and employee rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Perform supervisory tasks including resolving conflicts, coaching and developing lifeguards, promoting teamwork, and managing performance
  • Ensure guest safety and enhance the waterpark experience through safety-oriented behaviors and leadership
  • Support a positive working environment by fostering inclusivity and respect within the team
  • Monitor aquatic operations to maintain compliance with health and safety standards
