  • prior hotel and front desk experience preferred
  • customer service experience
  • supervisory experience preferred
  • knowledge of and comfort with computer operation

Job Duties

  • assist the Front Desk AM and Hotel Manager with daily front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping activities
  • manage reservations and supervise front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping employees
  • assist Hotel Manager with scheduling and payroll reporting
  • communicate changes, errors, or events on property to front desk employees
  • solve guest problems to ensure satisfaction
  • manage inventory and order supplies
  • train and break in new staff
  • enforce McMenamins and property policies
  • maintain positive customer relations
  • help with hiring, firing, discipline, and fair treatment of staff
