Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, engineering, supply chain, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum three years of experience in operational excellence, field operations, or business analytics roles
- Demonstrated experience developing KPIs and operational dashboards that drive field performance and accountability
- Proficiency in Excel, Sigma, Tableau or similar analytics and data visualization tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment
- Willingness to travel up to 25 percent
- Ability to manage evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with service-based distributed branch operations preferred
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum three years of experience in operational excellence, field operations, or business analytics roles
- Demonstrated experience developing KPIs and operational dashboards that drive field performance and accountability
- Strong analytical background with ability to translate data into actionable insights and operational decisions
- Hands-on experience with field operations metrics including route sequence compliance, safety/driver behavior scores, overtime trends, and technician productivity
- Proficiency in Excel, Sigma, Tableau or similar analytics and data visualization tools
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in matrixed environments to influence change and standardization
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present findings to frontline teams and senior leadership
- Prior experience in service-based, distributed branch operations such as waste management, logistics, utilities, or rental services highly preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and a continuous improvement mindset
Job Duties
- Partner with the Director of Operational Excellence to define, standardize, and document field SOPs aligned with enterprise goals
- Translate strategic priorities into measurable KPIs across technician, branch, market, and region levels
- Develop and maintain process documentation and reference materials to support standard adoption and sustainment
- Own and maintain recurring Sigma dashboards and ad hoc reports, ensuring data accuracy and usability
- Monitor KPI performance including route sequence adherence, overtime percentage, stem time, gate check outcomes, and eDVIR completion rates
- Contribute to development of region and branch-level scorecards and performance review materials
- Conduct root cause analysis on lagging performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
- Provide benchmarking, insights, and support for branch-level deep dives and operational action plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Operations, Safety, Fleet, Procurement, HR to ensure and improve data integrity
- Develop and deliver communications, training materials, and tools to support metric and SOP adoption
- Own and continuously update GM and OM playbooks with new tools, SOPs, and metrics
- Participate in site visits, operational interventions, and regional operations calls to ensure field relevance and impact
- Support pilot testing and structured rollouts of new operational initiatives across the network
- Travel up to 25 percent
