Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- high school degree or equivalent required
- minimum 6 months work experience in customer relations parties or events
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds standing and walking for extended periods
- good communication skills
- willingness to maintain positive attitude and work in fast-paced environment
- knowledge of health sanitation laws preferred
- ServeSafe certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- undergraduate education preferred
- minimum of 6 months’ experience in customer relations parties or events
- one to two years’ experience in high-volume fine-casual dining or related restaurant preferred
- experience working with children preferred
- current ServeSafe certification preferred
- good verbal and communication skills required
- must enjoy public speaking and working with children
- possess a warm and friendly demeanor
Job Duties
- Achieves and delivers timely steps of party execution including communication with customers prior to events
- creates and maintains pleasant ambiance in dining and party rooms
- works with party team to greet and seat guests promptly
- shares store and event information with guests
- takes and delivers beverage and food orders
- upsells products
- services parties throughout events
- prepares desserts and to-go transactions
- delivers and processes checks
- bus and resets tables
- performs daily clean up and restocking of supplies
- meets sales goals and budgetary guidelines
- works with external vendors and places product orders timely
- ensures customer satisfaction and oversees resolution of service issues
- executes events to American Girl standards including games crafts hair styling and doll skin care
- maintains ongoing party communications with staff management and retail sales departments
- complies with local and state health sanitation laws and workplace safety guidelines
- assigns and completes daily tasks and side work for front and back of house areas
- utilizes InfoGenesis system for transaction accuracy
- trains teaches and assists teammates including support across various restaurant areas when needed
