Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service
  • Food safety and alcohol service certification
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Physical strength to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Commitment to uphold hotel standards and procedures

Job Duties

  • Welcome and connect with every customer

  • Follow hotel cash handling procedures

  • Maintain a friendly and welcoming demeanor
  • Offer and ask for help as part of teamwork
  • Complete food safety and alcohol serve certification
  • Carry a minimum of three plates and share food running duties
  • Fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation
  • Notify supervisor of cleaning or equipment problems
  • Fill out maintenance work orders and timely deliver
  • Follow all hotel emergency and safety procedures
  • Adhere to hotel quality assurance standards
  • Properly administer guest keys
  • Return lost and found items properly
  • Accommodate guest special requests courteously
  • Provide information on hotel and local facilities
  • Carry out reasonable management requests
