The role at the Jacksonville Holiday Inn is designed around a morning shift primarily focused on breakfast operations. Candidates selected for this position will engage in the essential tasks of setting up and maintaining a breakfast buffet that meets high standards of quality and presentation. The role requires maintaining adequate stock levels to ensure a seamless breakfast service. Additionally, the position involves handling guest payments and contributing to the maintenance and cleanliness of the restaurant area and associated equipment. The job mandates a flexible working schedule that accommodates weekends, holidays, and varied shifts to align with operational needs. Job Requirements
- minimum one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public
- minimum state age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages
- ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers
- high school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred
- ServSafe and/or food safety training
- bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele
