Job Requirements
- must have completed county and state liquor training
- proper professional attire as per employee handbook
- appearance must be neat, clean and professional
- name badge and proper uniform must be worn at all times

- previous food and beverage experience required
- good physical condition to lift moderate weights and stand for prolonged periods
- sincere desire to provide the utmost guest service
- solid interpersonal and communication skills
- pleasant personality to effectively address guest questions and enhance guest experience
- good teamwork with fellow employees
- strong attention to detail
- well-groomed appearance according to company standards
- adherence to occupational safety and health practices including wearing personal protective equipment when required
Job Duties
- be familiar with all standards of proper service etiquette and adhere to these throughout the guest dining experience
- attend all scheduled staff meetings and supplemental training sessions
- be aware of all liquor laws as well as company and departmental policies regarding alcoholic beverage consumption
- service a five-table station during typical service demand
- be familiar with emergency safety measures including the Heimlich maneuver and fire evacuation procedures
- have a strong working knowledge of the micros ordering system and check processing procedures
- know all menu items including ingredients, preparation, required condiments and specific service
- expediently take and expedite guest orders from the kitchen
- check side duty list for opening and closing duties
- obtain own condiments, beverages, and pre-bus tables after guests finish
- obtain completed checks from micros and present to guests
- finalize checks in system
- polish glassware and silverware for next service period
- finalize all settlement transactions and report unsigned checks to manager
- determine gratuity distribution according to set standards
