The role of the AM Server at Olio Italian is integral to maintaining the exceptional guest experience expected at this venue. This position is part of the Front of House (FOH) team and reports to the General Manager, Hospitality Manager, and Assistant Managers. The AM Server is tasked with providing excellent customer service during the first shift of the day, ensuring that guests are welcomed warmly and guided knowledgeably through the dining options. The position offers an hourly wage plus tips, which are pooled among staff, reflecting a compensation structure typical to the hospitality industry.

The AM Server must exhibit genuine hospitality, skillfully explain the restaurant's concept to new guests, and demonstrate salesmanship to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Key responsibilities include handling currency exchanges accurately, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the dining area, and adhering to company service standards. The position requires a high level of communication with both guests and the back-of-house (BOH) team to ensure smooth operations and a seamless dining experience.

Candidates for this role should possess the ability to multitask effectively, work well under pressure, and maintain composure during busy periods. The ideal AM Server must show commitment to food and beverage quality and have a willingness to continuously learn the menu and the steps of service. Physical demands of the position include the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 45 pounds as needed. Safety and compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws are critical, especially concerning the responsible service of alcoholic beverages.
