The Server role at Stonebridge is a full-time, non-exempt position located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The hourly pay rate is $10.00, reflecting the company’s commitment to competitive compensation in the local hospitality market. Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Manager, this role is pivotal in delivering an outstanding dining experience that reflects the high standards of Stonebridge. The primary responsibility involves serving food and beverages in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner across the dining room, lounge, and banquet areas. This position requires a combination of interpersonal skills and operational knowledge to ensure that guests receive timely service with attention to detail and care.

Servers at Stonebridge are expected to uphold the quality of food and beverage presentation while engaging with guests to meet their needs effectively. The role includes greeting guests promptly upon arrival, taking drink orders, providing menu recommendations including wine selections when appropriate, and accurately relaying orders to kitchen and bar staff. Anticipating guest requests and providing proactive service is essential for creating memorable dining experiences. Additionally, the server will be responsible for clearing and resetting tables, performing side work, maintaining cleanliness of work and storage areas, and adhering strictly to safety regulations such as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

Beyond daily service tasks, the server assists with the setup and refresh of function rooms for special events, supporting a smooth and professional atmosphere. Participation in department meetings is also expected to stay aligned with the company’s service standards and expectations. Physical stamina is a must due to the requirement to stand and walk for extended periods and handle heavy trays. Flexibility in work schedule is essential, with shifts potentially spanning nights, days, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.
