Job Requirements

  • must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a pastry or bakery role preferred
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to work in varying temperatures
  • capacity to bend, stoop, and reach
  • ability to use kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and knives safely
  • must maintain professional and hygienic appearance
  • effective communication with leadership and coworkers
  • willingness to work morning to mid-afternoon shifts
  • ability to tolerate exposure to food odors and allergens

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in pastry production
  • ability to follow recipes and culinary instructions accurately
  • strong communication skills with guests and team members
  • capability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • knowledge of kitchen safety standards

Job Duties

  • prepare baking and dessert items according to recipes and standards
  • perform chocolate work and sauce preparation for dessert service
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station
  • follow safety and hygiene protocols in the kitchen
  • collaborate with culinary team to ensure timely dessert production
  • assist in inventory management and restocking of pastry ingredients
  • adhere to equipment safety guidelines during use
