Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and split shifts
  • Maintain personal grooming standards including clean and styled hair as approved by management
  • Ability to attend all required training and safety courses
  • Capable of following safety protocols and reporting hazards promptly

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient in operating kitchen equipment and safety features
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and ability to keep work area clean
  • Capable of rotating breads and desserts and informing Chef or Executive Chef of spoilage
  • Experience in preparing breads and pastries for lunch and dinner meals
  • Understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets and proper product labeling

Job Duties

  • Arrive to work on time consistently
  • Upon entering the property, arrive in proper uniform, crisps, clean, and in good repair
  • Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style, management has final approval
  • Attend all required training and safety courses along with office and departmental meetings
  • Work in fast pace, high volume kitchen with a campus style property
  • Report any safety hazards, follow up that the hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment
  • Use proper portion control techniques, assisting in food cost containment
