The Line Cook position at Alder & Ash plays a critical role in maintaining the high culinary standards the restaurant is known for. This role involves assisting the executive and sous chefs with their daily responsibilities, ensuring food preparation meets exact specifications, and managing station setup and organization. The Line Cook must have a passion for cooking, a willingness to learn, and the ability to perform various cooking techniques such as grilling, frying, and sautéing to deliver dishes that adhere to specified recipes and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a restaurant setting as a server is preferred, supporting a comprehensive understanding of customer service and kitchen dynamics.
This position demands flexibility, with work hours starting as early as 5 AM and including weekends and holidays.
