Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years cooking experience preferably high volume
- food handlers certification required
- ability to work in extreme temperatures
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- ability to push and pull carts and equipment up to 250 lbs
- good communication skills
- detail oriented
- basic computer skills
- organizational skills
- self-driven
- ability to effectively deal with customers
- knowledge of cooking methods and equipment
Job Qualifications

- minimum of 2 years cooking experience preferably in a high volume setting
- food handlers certification

- knowledge of various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment

Job Duties
- Read menu to estimate food requirements and assist Executive Chef with ordering supplies
- assist in training new culinary staff members
- coordinate and expedite kitchen staff to ensure timely service and consistent food quality
- prepare food items according to standardized recipes
- measure and mix ingredients using kitchen equipment
- operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and griddles
- set up station with required mise en place
- adjust thermostat controls on cooking appliances
- clean food preparation areas and utensils
- maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards
- verify food quality and quantity
- perform other duties as assigned by management
