Job Requirements

  • previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Duties

  • Operate commercial dishwashing equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment by hand or using dishwashers
  • sort and stack clean dishes properly, ensuring they are stored in designated areas
  • empty and clean trash receptacles regularly
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops
  • follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents
  • adhere to proper food handling and storage guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety
  • collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow
