Job Requirements

No formal education required
No prior experience necessary
Must have basic knowledge of restaurant operations
Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand continuously during shifts
Ability to travel up to 300 feet regularly during shift
Must be able to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and finger throughout the shift
Must maintain friendly and courteous behavior at all times

Job Duties

Clears all used tableware, napkins and refuse from tables to tubs in bus station and wipes table, chairs and clears debris and crumbs from floor areas surrounding table
Resets tables in accordance with established standards to seat new customers quickly
Removes full tubs from bus stations to dishwashing area for cleaning, maintains a clean, well-stocked and orderly bus station
Retrieves cleaned dishes, glassware and utensils from dish room and distributes to each service station
Sweeps restaurant floors throughout shift to maintain cleanliness and attractiveness
Retrieves requisitioned items from stockroom and stocks supplies properly, rotating stock
Assists waitstaff by refilling customers' beverages and accommodating requests for items
Keeps ice stations filled at all times
Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor
Performs other duties as assigned by management
