We are currently seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team on a full-time basis. In this role, the Cook will play a crucial part in upholding the club’s standard of outstanding service by delivering high-quality food preparation and presentation. The successful candidate will perform a variety of cooking methods, ensure proper portion control, and garnish dishes to meet the club’s rigorous quality standards. Collaboration with fellow culinary staff is essential to achieve departmental goals and maintain the vision of excellence that the club embodies. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and efficient kitchen operations to ensure every member and guest experiences exceptional dining.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Maintains high standards of quality of food production to ensure member and guest satisfaction
  • Prepares all menu items according to standard recipes and that the quality is established by the Club is met
  • Serves items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards
  • Covers, dates, and stores food and product in accordance with company standards
  • Complies with proper handling and storage of all food and products
  • Maintains the sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen and dumpster areas at all times
  • Keeps all cooking equipment clean during the assigned shift and prior to the change of shift
  • Sets up service units with necessary items
  • Assists Chefs with the requisitioning of product according to menu specifications and standard recipes
  • Operates within all established guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as set by the Club and the Culinary operation
  • Assists with the maintenance of all equipment, cleanliness, safety, and opening and closing procedures for the kitchen areas
