Job Description
Progressive Processing, LLC is a prominent manufacturing facility located in Dubuque, Iowa, and operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Hormel Foods. Established in January 2010, it stands as the first new production facility built by Hormel Foods in more than 25 years. The expansive 342,000 square-foot plant specializes in producing a variety of Hormel products, including bacon toppings, SPAM®, and Hormel® Compleats® microwave meals, catering to a wide range of food consumers. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years old
- able to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- willing to work 1st shift hours
- capable of following safety and food handling protocols
- reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- self-motivated individual with a team-oriented mindset
- ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- previous machine operator experience helpful but not required
- history of dedicated employment is advantageous
- possession of a National Career Readiness Certificate strongly recommended
Job Duties
- Operate production equipment according to safety and quality standards
