We are currently seeking a highly responsible and proactive Alcohol Compliance Supervisor to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the responsible service of alcohol throughout our venues, strictly adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations alongside company policies. Reporting directly to management, the Alcohol Compliance Supervisor will assist staff with alcohol-related issues, monitor employee adherence to Legends Global’s Alcohol Policy, and document any incidents of concern. This role requires a professional with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure. The successful candidate will lead pre-shift meetings to prepare the compliance team and conduct post-event debriefings to review outcomes effectively.

The supervisor’s duties extend beyond monitoring; they will also assist management in determining and communicating the timing for last alcohol sales, ensuring that the promotions and service uphold the highest standards of responsible alcohol practices. This position demands a positive and professional demeanor as it involves frequent interaction with guests, volunteers, and staff to promote guest satisfaction and a safe environment. The role includes working various events with a flexible schedule that may encompass extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. Additionally, candidates must be capable of physical tasks such as standing or walking up to 10 hours in one shift and handling moderate lifting and movement tasks.

Job Duties

  • Supervises the serving of alcohol by event day employees
  • hold a pre-shift meeting to provide details, notes and any relevant information to the compliance team prior to them breaking into their areas of responsibility
  • hold a post event meeting to review and discuss outcomes of the day’s event
  • follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines as required by federal, state and local laws and in compliance with company and venue standards and expectations
  • ensure the staff is adhering to all responsible alcohol service guidelines as required by federal, state and local laws and in compliance with company standards
  • observe, document, and report all alcohol related issues, violations, pass-offs and suspected guest intoxication
  • assist management with determining and communicating last call time for alcohol sales
  • maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor
  • interact with guests, volunteers and staff to ensure guest satisfaction
  • perform other duties as assigned
