Job Duties

  • Assemble and disassemble breakfast buffet
  • Ensure buffet remains well-stocked
  • Receive beverage orders and relay to kitchen
  • Provide condiments upon request
  • Clear tables and remove cutlery and crockery
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints
  • Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors after meals
  • Clean and sanitize tables and countertops
  • Be attentive, friendly, and courteous to guests and staff
  • Know restaurant and room service organization
  • Have knowledge of menus and specials
  • Service guests with food and beverages
  • Pre-bus tables removing soiled dishes
  • Perform cashiering and prepare shift paperwork
  • Conduct opening and closing procedures
  • Keep tables stocked, tidy, and clean
  • Keep beverages full
  • Breakdown soiled dish trays
  • Answer telephone calls
  • Upsell food and beverage items
  • Receive and deliver orders and payments
  • Serve food and beverages in a friendly manner
