Job Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire
prior experience in food and beverage service and food preparation is preferred
demonstrated experience with both hot and cold food preparation
sound working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes
if 18 years old or older: proficiency in operating kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, grinders, and food processors
ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency
possession of a valid food handler's card as required by county regulations

Job Duties

operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, mixers, grinders, and food processors
maintain a thorough understanding of hot and cold food preparation techniques
adhere to all accepted sanitation standards and health codes to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment
wash dishes and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
utilize cut gloves when handling knives and other sharp utensils
manage assigned tasks effectively and meet established time schedules
maintain an immaculate kitchen environment through regular cleaning and adherence to hygiene protocols
fulfill any other duties as delegated or directed by supervisory personnel
