Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age 18 years
- Pass company background checks and drug tests
- Meet airport security badge requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction
- Excellent vision and coordination, able to pass color vision test
- Possess valid state driver’s license or CDL if applicable
- Capable of following instructions and exercising good judgment
- Preferred 3 to 6 months of related experience or training
- Strong hospitality and guest service skills
- Proficient in English reading and communication
- Basic math skills for operational tasks
- Physically able to operate equipment and perform duties
- Able to follow multi-step instructions
- Effective interpersonal and multitasking skills
- Computer literate and able to complete training programs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Ability to pass company background checks including criminal and motor vehicle, drug tests, and airport security badge requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the jurisdiction of employment
- Excellent vision and coordination, able to pass color vision test for inspecting aviation fuel
- Valid state driver’s license, and commercial driver’s license (CDL) if required by location
- Ability to exercise good judgment and follow supervisor directives
- Preferred 3 to 6 months experience or training in aviation, customer service, or related field
- Excellent guest service skills with an energetic, outgoing personality
- Ability to read and comprehend safety and operating documents in English
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic
- Physical ability to operate motor vehicles and ground support equipment safely
- Ability to carry out multi-step instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency with computers, email, and company software
- Ability to complete required training programs timely
Job Duties
- Work as part of a team to conduct airside operations safely and efficiently in accordance with established policies and SOPs
- Collaborate with team members, guests, clients, vendors, and aircraft crewmembers to ensure service needs are met
- Prepare for arriving and departing aircraft, perform open job tasks, and report safety concerns
- Operate and drive ground service equipment including fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, ground power units, tugs, and stair trucks
- Load and unload luggage and cargo into and out of aircraft or other transportation
- Provide professional and friendly guest service ensuring exceptional experience
- Offer safe and courteous transportation when driving shuttle vehicles
- Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations
- Handle fuel quality control, fuel receipt, inventory, and related documentation
- Enforce operational, safety, and guest service requirements
- Stop work and report unsafe conditions promptly
- Follow emergency response procedures during critical events
- Adhere to all security protocols dictated by Signature Aviation and the airport
- Create accurate records for time worked and services performed
