Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Must be able to frequently lift greater than 70 lbs and constantly lift up to 70 lbs
- Must be able to constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs
- Must be able to constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend
- Must be able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
- Must be open to working in outside weather conditions including severe seasonal elements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state or customs authorities
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Preferred: one year of relevant experience in aviation or ground handling industry
Job Duties
- Lead a team of agents in ramp service duties
- Marshal the aircraft on the ramp for all arriving, departing and towed aircraft
- Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wings during pushback and de-ice operations
- Load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight and company materials
- Operate ramp equipment including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles
- Serve the aircraft cabin including cleaning lavatories, restocking supplies, and other cabin service duties
- Monitor and enforce safe working conditions in accordance with regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
- Promote and adhere to policies concerning safety, anti-harassment, and equal employment opportunity
- Perform other related duties as assigned
