This role is for a Cleaning and Maintenance Worker responsible for performing a wide range of custodial duties. The position is essential for keeping premises in pristine condition by efficiently cleaning various areas, including rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms. The job entails comprehensive cleaning tasks such as polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim to maintain an elegant and well-kept appearance. Additional responsibilities include sweeping, scrubbing, finishing, and polishing floors; cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies; dusting furniture and equipment; polishing metalwork; and washing walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills to ensure the entire facility is spotless.

The employee will also be tasked with emptying wastebaskets, cleaning ashtrays, and transporting trash and waste to designated disposal areas. This job requires physical endurance and the ability to safely perform tasks at heights, handle sometimes loud environments, and manage exposure to fumes or airborne particles. The work setting demands regular standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, and balancing, with a physical requirement to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.
