Job Requirements

  • Specialized training in custodial or related area equivalent to 18 months beyond high school
  • Minimum of two years experience in operations or maintenance of large facilities
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to pass criminal background check
  • Ability to obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances
  • Physical ability to perform occasional light lifting and stooping
  • Ability to work shift schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to customer service excellence
  • Willingness to participate in random drug testing
  • Ability to respond to emergencies
  • US work authorization required

Job Qualifications

  • Specialized training in custodial principles and procedures or related field
  • At least 18 months of education or training beyond high school
  • Two years of operational or maintenance experience in a large facility
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Experience managing diverse teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively with airport partners and the public
  • Customer service experience
  • Business acumen and analytical skills
  • Experience in airport operations and passenger assistance is a plus
  • Multilingual or bilingual skills are advantageous

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize and direct daily custodial operations including cleaning of restrooms, offices, public areas, windows, walls, floors, carpeting, and trash removal
  • Organize and issue work assignments and materials to custodial staff
  • Inspect and monitor custodial work crews to ensure compliance with schedules and specifications
  • Track work orders, materials, and labor hours using the INFOR system
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from customer feedback and airport communications
  • Assist in emergency responses and manage inventory of materials and supplies
  • Participate in personnel actions including interviews, promotions, counseling, disciplinary measures, performance evaluations, and employee investigations
  • Train employees on procedures and equipment use
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditures
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned
