Job Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- valid Class C Texas driver's license
- ability to pass a criminal background check
- ability to obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances
- willingness to work shift schedules including weekends and holidays
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- ability to endure exposure to various environmental conditions
- proficiency in computer and technical skills
- excellent communication skills
- ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Airway Science, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
- professional or para-professional experience in airport operations or security may substitute for education requirement
- proficiency with identification and credentialing software including ProWatch
- ability to multitask using multiple software applications
- excellent diplomatic communication skills
- strong experience with MS Windows and MS Office
- attention to detail in data entry
- knowledge of federal regulations and US Customs documents
- experience detecting fraudulent identification
- ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Process applicants for new, renewal, replacement, lost, stolen, and damaged badges
- perform and maintain biographic and biometric data capture using ProWatch software
- assist applicants with SIDA and AOA driving training and testing
- verify completed background checks before issuing ID credentials
- monitor, verify, and update security badge access levels for multiple airports
- coordinate with Customs and Border Protection for CBP access seal issuance
- review and complete quality control reports and billing related to badging
- respond to routine customer inquiries and requests for assistance
- inspect security alarm doors and monitor terminal perimeter through CCTV and radio communications
- perform complete badging lifecycle activities
- contribute to team goals by performing related operational duties as assigned
