Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 1 year of related experience
  • Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local city and state regulations if applicable
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods, including entire shift durations
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds
  • Ability to use hands and arms for handling items
  • Ability to taste and smell
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions
  • Punctuality and regular attendance are required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 1 year related experience
  • Ability to provide attentive and efficient customer service
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including allergen information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements if applicable
  • Valid TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures), TEAM (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management), or equivalent alcohol-service certification if required

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests, present menus, and introduce specials or menu changes
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine, and answer questions about menu items, allergens, and preparation
  • Accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen, confirm orders with guests, and process them in the correct sequence
  • Check all items for quality and completeness, ensuring that presentations are attractive, appetizing, and consistent
  • Monitor guest needs, respond to requests, and address concerns or complaints with professionalism
  • Perform significant walking or other means of mobility throughout the shift
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods during shifts that may exceed 8 hours
  • Reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds
  • Use hands to finger, handle, feel or reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to taste and smell
  • Perform repetitive motions
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
