Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 0 to 1 year related experience
- Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local city and state regulations if applicable
- Must comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements if required
- Physical ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull
- Frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, feel or reach with hands and arms
- Ability to taste and smell
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 0 to 1 year related experience
- Valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification if applicable
- Knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests, present menus, and introduce specials or menu changes
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine, and answer questions about menu items, allergens, and preparation
- Accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen, confirm orders with guests, and process them in the correct sequence
- Check all items for quality and completeness, ensuring that presentations are attractive, appetizing, and consistent
- Monitor guest needs, respond to requests, and address concerns or complaints with professionalism
- Perform significant walking or other means of mobility
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
