Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 0 to 1 year related experience
- Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local city and state regulations
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods during shifts which may exceed 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use hands and arms for handling and reaching
- Ability to taste and smell
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Punctuality and regular attendance
- Ability to work any shift with open availability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 0 to 1 year related experience
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively
- Knowledge of menu items, allergens, and beverage pairings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Compliance with local alcohol service regulations and certifications if applicable
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests, present menus and introduce specials or menu changes
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine and answer questions about menu items, allergens, and preparation
- Accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen, confirm orders with guests and process them in the correct sequence
- Check all items for quality and completeness, ensuring that presentations are attractive, appetizing, and consistent
- Monitor guest needs, respond to requests and address concerns or complaints with professionalism
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
