Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0 to 1 year related experience
  • Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local city and state regulations
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods during shifts which may exceed 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use hands and arms for handling and reaching
  • Ability to taste and smell
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions
  • Punctuality and regular attendance
  • Ability to work any shift with open availability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 1 year related experience
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively
  • Knowledge of menu items, allergens, and beverage pairings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Compliance with local alcohol service regulations and certifications if applicable

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests, present menus and introduce specials or menu changes
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine and answer questions about menu items, allergens, and preparation
  • Accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen, confirm orders with guests and process them in the correct sequence
  • Check all items for quality and completeness, ensuring that presentations are attractive, appetizing, and consistent
  • Monitor guest needs, respond to requests and address concerns or complaints with professionalism
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
