Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Must pass security background check
- Authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the housekeeping/janitorial field
- Requires ability to maintain a presentable and polished appearance in keeping with service standards in a best-in-class environment
- Be able to stand during entire scheduled shift
- Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced work shift up to ten (10) hours
- Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Requires the ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- Report on work on a regular and timely basis
- Adheres to all local and state health department guidelines
- Able to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to pass and obtain security background check and clearance to work in airport environment
Job Duties
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, break rooms
- Assist with clearing tables of dirty dishes and cleaning tables
- Restock beverage stations
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaner and/or shampooers
- Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transport to designated disposal areas within and outside of the lounge
- Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors in restrooms
- Replenish restroom supplies, polish metalwork including fixtures and fittings
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Additional floor work may be required such as scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors
- Washes walls and woodwork, clean windows, door panels, partitions, and windowsills
- Notifies supervisor concerning any need for any maintenance repairs or additions observed
- Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures
- Dust furniture, fixtures, equipment, and partitions
- Must be able to stand during an entire scheduled shift
- Other duties as assigned
