Job Requirements
- Follow company appearance guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to push luggage cages weighing approximately 100 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand for up to eight hours continuously
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, reach, push, and pull up to 75 lbs
- Ability to occasionally bend, squat, and kneel
- Ability to walk up to 50% of the time
- Clean-shaven policy for all men except fully grown facial hair
- No visible tattoos or body piercings allowed unless covered
- Must wear clean and well-maintained approved uniforms
- Possess excellent hand and finger dexterity
- Ability to use verbal and written communication proficiently
- Ability to move quickly and adjust vision as required
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- At least six months of face-to-face guest service experience preferred
- Data entry or computer experience preferred
- Clear communication skills with guests and clients
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of airline or travel industry preferred
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment criminal background screening
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they approach the desk
- Assist guests with checking in luggage to appropriate airlines
- Verify guest flight itinerary and number of bags
- Input guest information for new users
- Process check-in and charge credit cards as per airline policies
- Weigh bags and handle fees for overweight luggage
- Appropriately tag guest luggage with destination tags
- Provide boarding passes, luggage claim tickets, and receipts
- Secure luggage immediately after processing
- Maintain excellent verbal and written communication
- Uphold a friendly and professional demeanor
- Organize and stock the concierge desk
- Manage guest payment transactions
- Answer telephones and respond to guest questions
- Perform simple arithmetic calculations
