The role of the Curbside Concierge - Airline Check-in Agent is a pivotal position within the Bags team, charged with delivering outstanding service to airline passengers at busy airport curbside locations. This role requires an individual who is customer-focused and attentive to detail, tasked with handling passenger luggage according to Transportation Security Administration (TSA) standards, issuing boarding passes, and tagging baggage for departing flights. It is a physically demanding role that involves standing for extended periods, lifting heavy luggage up to 70 pounds, and working in various weather conditions. Candidates must also be capable of managing credit card transactions and navigating complex safety and security protocols including HAZMAT and Dangerous Goods guidelines.
The Curbside Concierge will be the face of the company for many travelers, greeting guests warmly, assisting with luggage check-in, ensuring accurate information processing, and providing general assistance such as flight updates and directions. This role demands excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Personnel are expected to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor while upholding client and company values and safety standards.

Job Requirements
- Ability to work in the early morning rotation
- at least 6 months experience in a face-to-face guest service position preferred
- data entry and or computer experience preferred
- ability to communicate clearly with guests and clients
- ability to work in outside weather conditions required
- knowledge of the airline or travel industry preferred
- must be eligible to work in the United States
- must successfully pass the pre-employment criminal background screening
- must pass pre-employment drug testing process

Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival
- assist guests with check-in of luggage and verify flight itineraries
- input guest information accurately
- process luggage check-in including payment handling
- weigh bags and charge for overweight luggage
- tag luggage with appropriate destination tags
- provide boarding passes, luggage claim tickets, and receipts
- secure luggage immediately after processing
- maintain excellent verbal and written communication
- uphold a positive, friendly, and professional manner
- organize and stock the concierge desk
- manage credit card payments from guests
- answer telephones and respond to guest inquiries
- perform simple addition related to transactions
