Job Description
Alliance Ground International (AGI) is one of the largest independently owned ground handling companies operating across 61 airports in the United States and Canada. With a robust workforce of over 12,000 team members, AGI supports more than 100 airlines, managing over 1.5 billion kilos of cargo and over 400,000 departures annually. The company has built a strong reputation for excellence in aviation ground services, emphasizing safety, operational professionalism, and customer satisfaction. AGI continues to grow and is dedicated to maintaining its outstanding safety record and high-quality service standards across airport operations. They are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work culture, ensuring equal employment opportunities for all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, and other protected statuses.
The Airport Concierge role at AGI is a fast-paced, customer-focused position essential to delivering a seamless airport experience. As an Airport Concierge, you will be responsible for greeting clients upon arrival, escorting them through various airport procedures such as security screening, and guiding them to their desired destinations such as gates, lounges, or restaurants. Attention to detail and professionalism are critical, as you will assist with luggage handling, monitor flight statuses, and communicate any changes or disruptions promptly to clients. You will become thoroughly familiar with airport amenities—including retail locations, ticket counters, and service points—to provide knowledgeable, personalized assistance. In addition to accommodating client needs, you will maintain confidentiality and adhere strictly to airport escorting protocols and company safety standards.
This employment opportunity requires a dynamic individual with at least one year of customer service experience who thrives in a safety-obsessed aviation environment. The role demands excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficient use of technology such as the Airport Butler system for managing service details and client communication. Physical stamina is essential, as the job involves standing or sitting for extended periods, occasionally lifting or moving heavy items, and working in varying weather conditions.
AGI supports its employees with a comprehensive range of benefits, including paid vacation, medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time eligible staff, as well as medical options for part-time employees. They provide free uniforms, on-the-job training, and additional perks such as a company-matched 401(k) program, employee assistance programs, life insurance options, and travel discounts. Flexible scheduling, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary to meet operational demands.
Joining AGI means becoming part of a dedicated team that values energy, enthusiasm, respect, and the highest safety standards in aviation ground operations. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to enhance their careers in the aviation industry by delivering exceptional service in a collaborative and safety-driven environment.
