Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience in airline catering, food service, or related operational management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Knowledge of FDA and HACCP compliance
- Leadership skills with experience managing teams
- Proficient in inventory management and billing systems
- Must be able to coordinate with multiple departments and external clients
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Willingness to participate in company safety and quality initiatives.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management or related field preferred
- Proven experience in airline catering or food service operational management
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and billing processes
- Familiarity with FDA and HACCP regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Leadership and team management experience
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and coordinate between different departments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with budget planning and cost control
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and catering management software.
Job Duties
- Account management for all airline accounts, office supplies, auxiliary vendor accounts
- Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with the assigned account(s) and act as a liaison between the Flight Kitchen, the airlines, and local operations
- Ensure accurate billing and provisioning to the airline
- Maintain daily par levels and inventory control in accordance with customer standards
- Ensure equipment inventory is taken in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure the on-time departure of all flights using catering guidelines
- Support the respective departments regarding all airline cycle changes
- Monitor and ensure compliance with customer specifications and equipment, policies, and procedures (Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) etc.) in cooperation with the responsible Quality Manager
- Maintain customer specifications and monitor changes
- Ensure that the airlines measurement system is considered in each department
- Coordinate and participate in all Flight Kitchen evaluations by the customer
- Distribute evaluation feedback to department Managers and ensure response is provided in a timely manner
- Monitor and ensure Flight compliance with the airline's safety expectations
- Develop, document, and maintain flight attendant comment and delay database
- Support the Food Department in menu presentations as needed
- Assist in Chef tables with Food Safety
- Track quality scores
- Ensure par levels of local inventory and specific goods (supplies and services)
- Participate in special customer projects
- Ensure that the areas of responsibility are properly organized, staffed and directed
- Guide, motivate and develop the subordinate employees within the Human Resources Policy
- Participate in coaching the expanded Global Performance System (GPS) process, as well as additional career development activities to enhance the effectiveness and potential of the team
- Make the company's values and management principles live in the department(s)
- Plan / Implement and control the cost budget in area of responsibility
- initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations
- Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as Food Safety, HACCP, IFSC, Spring Shot, Employee Safety and etc.
