Job Requirements

  • Possess an FAA Commercial Pilot certificate or Airline Transport Pilot certificate
  • Hold a valid first or second-class medical certificate
  • Obtain a first class medical certificate prior to appointment
  • Have at least 1500 total flight hours
  • Log a minimum of 250 pilot-in-command hours
  • Include 75 hours of night flying
  • Record 100 hours of flying within the last 12 months
  • Maintain 500 hours of multi-engine airplane time
  • Document 75 hours of instrument flying
  • Provide FAA Form 3330-47-3 for flight hour verification
  • Meet selective placement factor requirements
  • Meet all specialized experience requirements if applicable
  • Submit application by closing date

Job Qualifications

  • Possess a valid Commercial Pilot certificate with airplane, multi-engine land, and instrument ratings or an Airline Transport Pilot certificate with multi-engine land rating
  • Hold a valid first or second-class medical certificate
  • Have a minimum total flight time of 1500 hours
  • Include at least 250 hours as pilot-in-command
  • Log a minimum of 75 hours night flying
  • Document 500 hours multi-engine airplane time
  • Acquire 75 hours instrument time, including 10 hours in actual instrument weather
  • Demonstrate proficiency to safely perform pilot duties as assessed by FAA
  • Successfully complete the ATP written exam within 60 days if lacking an ATP certificate

Job Duties

  • Conduct flight operations in accordance with FAA regulations
  • Perform pilot-in-command duties on multi-engine airplanes
  • Maintain currency and proficiency through simulator and actual flight time
  • Ensure compliance with medical certificate requirements
  • Complete ATP written exam if applicable
  • Manage flight logs and certify flight hours
  • Adhere to safety protocols and FAA standards during all flight activities
