Job Requirements
- Minimum 12 months airline experience preferred
- Ramp and bag room experience preferred
- Proficient knowledge of airline product systems and procedures
- Knowledge of airline computer systems
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Ability to work in teams and lead ramp team
- Able to travel for training
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- English proficient
- Valid US work authorization
- Professional demeanor and exceptional presentation
- Flexible schedule and availability
- Background check required
- Fingerprinting required
- Drug screen required prior to the day of hire
- Able to stand for 3-4 hours at a time
- Reading and comprehension of reference materials, instructions, policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Previous airline experience minimum 12 months
- Ramp and bag room experience preferred
- Proficient knowledge of airline product systems and procedures
- Knowledge of airline computer systems
- Ability to lead and work effectively within teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- English proficiency
- Previous customer service experience
- Retail or hospitality work experience preferred
Job Duties
- Coordinate weight and balance documentation with load control
- Maintain daily trip files and station traffic reports including all aircraft handling related statistical data
- Supervise ramp functions ensuring operational safety and load security checks prior to departure
- Coordinate all phases of aircraft handling including catering, cleaning, fueling, crew and passenger boarding and de-boarding
- Manage loading and unloading activities ensuring proper cargo buildup and preparation including securing cargo and luggage
- Collaborate closely with gate operations to oversee boarding and de-boarding passenger service processes
- Monitor bag scanning processes and provide daily performance reports to management documenting delays and reasons
