Job Requirements
- Minimum education requirement - associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum management experience - 2 years
- Minimum functional experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
- Ability to make daily operational decisions independently
- Strong knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations, HACCP, and health department interactions
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of management experience in a recognized restaurant concept, hotel/hospitality company, or contract foodservices group
- AGM or GM level background with leadership experience as the number one manager
- Strong background in safety, sanitation, HACCP, and health department regulations
- Proven ability to coach, teach, and develop people effectively
- Passion for the travel and hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience using food management systems for ordering and inventory control
Job Duties
- Oversee food and beverage program including food preparation, cooks, bartenders, and food attendants
- Manage daily lounge operations ensuring culinary standards and customer satisfaction
- Order products, manage inventory, and utilize food management systems for menu development and production planning
- Conduct food and beverage (bar) program training and monitor staff performance
- Ensure compliance with Sodexo and airline client standards of service
- Perform financial reporting and assist in achieving company and client financial targets
- Comply with all company safety, risk management, and HACCP policies and procedures
