Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum two years of culinary management experience
  • minimum one year work experience in food or culinary services
  • strong supervisory culinary background
  • excellent mentoring and leadership skills
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to maintain high culinary standards
  • flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
  • strong coaching and employee development skills
  • passion for food and innovation

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum two years of management experience
  • minimum one year of functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • demonstrated ability to stay current with culinary trends
  • excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
  • strong coaching and employee development abilities
  • passion for food and culinary innovation
  • ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Manage purchasing and ensure menu/recipe compliance
  • forecast inventory and food production needs
  • conduct hands-on cooking and supervise large-scale batch cooking
  • enforce Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe and food quality compliance
  • develop and motivate culinary team members towards innovation
  • ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • utilize automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems
