Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Able to clear background and drug screen
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Complete all required training including airport compliance
- Able to obtain an airport badge
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Physically able to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, turn, stretch, and bend regularly
- Adhere to company appearance guidelines including uniform and tattoo policies
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
- Able to complete all required training including airport compliance
- Able to obtain and maintain an airport badge
Job Duties
- Verify passenger boarding pass with checked baggage
- Move luggage to the security screening induction system
- Provide general information, directions, and flight information to passengers
- Monitor local baggage claim areas, remove unclaimed baggage, assist agents in securing bags
- Scan all bags in the claim area within 15 minutes from carousel removal
- Assist customers with their baggage in any airport area
- Recognize and enforce the hazmat/dangerous goods program regarding checked baggage
- Carry out other duties as assigned
- Work weekends and holidays
- Maintain compliance with appearance guidelines
- Complete required training including airport compliance
- Obtain and maintain all applicable airport security badges
